What is the best way to get rid of Zeolite debris in pool after installation in filter?

We just had our sand filter for our inground pool changed from sand to Zeolite/Zeobrite material, but our pool installers didn't backflush to waste like the packaging says and now after the pool was crystal clear it is cloudy. They are obviously morons because the instructions say that you are to backflush to waste first during initial install and then wait 5 min and do it again before you filter the pool and send it through the jets. It seems that the dust off the Zeolite is suspended in the pool. Normally we would turn off filter and let it settle to bottom and then vacuum to waste, but this seems too light to settle. Any ideas of how to fix this? We are at a loss here! Help! What is the best way to get rid of Zeolite debris in pool after installation in filter?the blue gel blocks that go in skimmer may help to trap the dust....that would the first thing I would try
